We want to help. The Shoemaker Protocol is the only scientifically-proven method of treating CIRS. But it's also incredibly expensive, and can take 12-18 months. Our preference is to work one on one with you as you make your way through the Shoemaker Protocol, but we know not everyone can commit to it.

Now there's an option.

We have created CIRS Rescue. It is a six month, low cost program that will take you through steps one through three of the Shoemaker Protocol.

What is CIRS Rescue?

The Shoemaker Protocol is based on a pyramid. The next step cannot be started
until the previous step has been completed. And the entire protocol is based on steps one, two and three:

  1. Removal from mold exposure
  2. Ridding your body of biotoxins
  3. Eradicating MARCoNS

These three steps can take up to six months, but once they are completed most patients feel noticeably better. They are even able to resume many of the activities they loved doing before they got so sick.

Our intention in developing CIRS Rescue is to help people suffering from CIRS regain as much of their health as possible without completing the entire protocol.

 

 

Here’s how CIRS Rescue works:

Step One

Test your home using the Envirobiomics Tri-Test. This is the only test that is able to identify the biotoxins that cause CIRS. Once the biotoxins are identified, we guide you through remediation specific to the biotoxins.

Step Two

You begin treatment with a supplement known as a binder. It adheres to biotoxins within your cells and helps your body excrete them. This step may take several months.

Step Three

MARCoNS are antibiotic-resistant bacteria that live in your nasal cavity. Treating MARCoNS is the first step to immune system regulation. We attack them with a nasal spray over the course of 6-8 weeks.

You will work under the guidance of Sheena Huculak, CIRS Health Coach. Each month, you will connect with Sheena during one monthly 90 minute virtual group appointment. You will also have a weekly 15 minute phone chat, and be able to direct message her. She will track your progress with a monthly Visual Contrast Sensitivity test.

The cost of CIRS Rescue is: 

$1000 for month one. This covers the Envirobiomics Tri-Test of your home, a MARCoNS nasal swab, MARCoNS spray, one jar of mycobinder, a Visual Contrast Sensitivity test, and working with Sheena.
 
$500/ month for months two through six*. This covers one jar of mycobinder, MARCoNS nasal spray, a Visual Contrast Sensitivity test, and working with Sheena.

You will also be added to an app where you can learn more about CIRS and the Shoemaker Protocol and connect with others in your cohort.

*Please note there is no commitment to complete months two through six.

 

 

Treating CIRS at Flourish Clinic

While groundbreaking, the Shoemaker Protocol is not a quick cure. The first threee steps alone may take months to work through.

Unfortunately, there aren’t any health plans that cover diagnostic testing and treatment. There are often unexpected costs each month, and supplements can run into the hundreds, if not thousands of dollars.

This is why we've broken out the first three steps and created an affordable option. We also require no commitment. Your initial payment covers all hard costs, so if you prefer to quit at any time you will not have an outstanding balance. If you choose to continue, there are an additional five months of treatment.

CIRS Rescue includes the following:

An Envirobiomics Tri-Test. This is the only test identifies the mycotoxins that cause CIRS.

 

A nasal swab to check for MARCoNS.

 

 

 

One jar of Flourish Clinic's mycobinder per month. This binder is only available to patients of Flourish.

One 90 minute group session per month with your cohort. This is your opportunity to learn from Sheena Huculak, CIRS Health Coach.

One bottle of MARCoNS nasal spray per month.

 

 

 

A weekly 15 minute phone appointment with Sheena, and the ability to direct message her as needed.

Yes, CIRS is a very real condition. It has many studies behind it in published, peer-reviewed journals.

CIRS Rescue takes you through the first three steps of the Shoemaker Protocol. The Shoemaker Protocol is the only scientifically proven, peer-reviewed method of treating CIRS.  Flourish Clinic has the only two certified Shoemaker Protocol practitioners in Canada.  We rely on scientifically proven methods to identify the biotoxins that are making you sick, and to rid them from your body. 
It is not a quick fix, and entails a high level of patient commitment. But we can assure you - it works.

We firmly believe the Shoemaker Protocol is the only way to treat CIRS. However, we understand that the cost is simply out of reach for many people with CIRS. CIRS Rescue offers a pathway forward by guiding patients through the first two steps of the protocol. After completing the first three steps, the majority of people with CIRS should see enough of an improvement that they can regain some of their lives.

CIRS Rescue is based on a group format. You will be placed in a small cohort. After completing a Visual Contrast Sensitivity test, all members of the cohort will be sent one Envirobiomics Tri-Test, a MARCoNS nasal swab and a jar of binders.

Every month that you are in CIRS Rescue you will have the opportunity to connect with our practitioner during a 90 minute virtual group session. You will also receive one jar of the Flourish binder, a bottle of MARCoNS nasal spray and a VCS test to track your progress on a monthly basis.If you are not able to continue, you can end your monthly payment at any time. You will no longer receive products or be able to attend group sessions.

Just like with the CIRS Treatment Program we are only interested in working with patients who understand their commitment is key to their recovery. CIRS Rescue is not a quick fix.

Yes! CIRS Rescue will be completely virtual.

If you want to fully treat CIRS we highly recommend you enrol in our CIRS Treatment Program.

However, if you have successfully completed steps one, two and three through CIRS Rescue it will likely take less than a year for you to complete the full protocol. One of our certified Shoemaker Protocol practitioners will be able to advise you in more detail.

We cannot make any guarantees that CIRS Rescue will work for everyone. CIRS is a complex illness that is best treated under the care of a certified Shoemaker Protocol practitioner. If you are not able to tolerate the binder and/or need more guidance than CIRS Rescue provides, we will recommend you enrol in our CIRS Treatment Program. 

CIRS Rescue is designed to be a lower cost treatment option to the CIRS Treatment Program. It will not work for everyone.

If you have a health spending account, you will be able to put it through your insurance. Insurance companies will not allow you to put this through extended healthcare benefits for acupuncture/massage/chiropractic etc.

We can't guarantee that you will feel better. CIRS is a complex illness. But we strongly believe that once you remediate your home properly, take binders and treat MARCoNS, you will feel noticeably better.

No. We provide the home test that will identify the biootoxins in your home and teach you how to properly get rid of them. However, you will have to pay for all remediation.
 

You can't pause CIRS Rescue and rejoin. However, you can end your payments at any time. If you would like to rejoin you will have to start over with a new cohort.
